July Virtual Lunch & Learn – Mental health during COVID-19 crisis

Event Details:

Jean Muhammad (Ames Community Schools) and Christine Krause (Mary Greeley Medical Center) will be speaking about how our mental health is affected during the current COVID-19 crisis and what can we do to stay healthy. They’ll also take questions at the end.

As Director of Behavioral Health, Christy provides leadership for programs including Inpatient, Outpatient and Crisis Stabilization/Transitional Living.  She is also a resource to regarding organizational, local and state mental health issues.

Jean Muhammed is the Student and Family Advocate at Ames High School. Her roles include providing intervention for students in crisis, individual and small group counseling, consultation with parents and teachers, addressing truancy issues, and making referrals to community services.
